How Much Should You Charge For A Webflow Website?

Hey Webflailers - it’s Jack!
There’s a North East English phrase which I love which is “Shy bairns get nowt.”
Essentially the phrase means if you're too shy, or don't ask, you will not get what you want.
Why am I banging on about this phrase?
Because I have a hunch that you (yes YOU who is reading this now) probably have all the skills needed to get what you want whether that’s more clients, or bigger clients or clients in a particular industry.
Maybe you are just not putting yourself out there and showing people what you can do.
I am no master at this myself but I have started a daily habit of posting what project I’m doing on Twitter and LinkedIn every day. Most of the time, there is very little engagement but it means that people can see what I can do from scrolling my profile on social media. Sometimes though, crazy things happen when you put yourself out there.
Yesterday evening, I posted a 5 second clip of a website project I’m working on and today, it has over 90 likes and almost 1500 impressions. Admittedly, having the name Joseph Berry in your caption is enough to get the Webflow community drooling but what’s crazy is that today, someone reached out to me about a client project off the back finding my website from this clip!
My point is that if you tell people what you can do more publicly, amazing things will happen!
ps. In person meetup in London for March 2023 anyone? Stay tuned.

How To Create A Unique Webflow Portfolio | With Hamish Duncan
For episode 20, my guest is Hamish Duncan. At 16, he became a professional snowboarder but at 22 he broke his back forcing him to rethink his life. After finding a love of storytelling and brand identity design, Hamish eventually set up Penny Black that transforms digital products that move businesses, people and planet forward.
What I love about this episode is the power of being a generalist. Hamish’ attributes some of his success is to do with knowing a little bit about a lot of things but a real depth of knowledge about business needs. Hamish has let all these different interests - photography, wildlife, snowboarding - inspire his design aesthetic and the clients he attracts.
Don’t be a clone is Hamish’ advice - make sure you don’t squash your general interests because it is what makes you truly distinct!
