8 Tips To Market Yourself As A Webflower On Twitter
1 Article, 1 Podcast, 3 Inspo Websites, 3 Webflow Jobs. Let's go!
Hey Webflailers - it’s Jack.
Someone who was a great mentor to me once said:
If you don’t look back at where you were a year ago and cringe and laugh, you haven’t pushed yourself hard enough.
If you’re a skeptic (like I am), this might sound self-help bullshit but I think this is the first year where I feel like I’m beginning to see the truth in this quote.
At the start of this year, I had no freelance clients, was living in a mouldy flat and had very little confidence.
Now, it’s not like I own a mansion, a booming agency and I’m brimming with confidence.
(Don’t worry - I’m not going to try and sell you a course about how to become a 10K a month freelancer.)
BUT I have now got a steadier income with freelance work, and I am out of the mouldy flat.
I am laughing and cringing hard thinking back to where I was at the start of this year.
Jack, where are you going with this?
My point is that if you’re just starting to learn Webflow and get freelance work, you might feel like I did at the start of 2022 - with little confidence, a pitiful bank account and no freelance work.
It is incredible what YOU can achieve in 12 months though.
You’re life will look totally different if you apply yourself over an extended period of time.
So I think it’s healthy to ask yourself at the close of 2022 how you want 2023 to look?
What habits do you need to get there?
Will you laugh and cringe at where you were because you have grown so much?

8 Tips To Market Yourself As A Webflower On Twitter
Twitter is an incredible platform to make friends, be inspired and even attract clients.
I have seen how powerful the platform has been to get freelance work. I am no expert in this but since so many agency owners and freelancers are in the Webflow twittersphere, there are a few things I have noticed Webflowers doing that gets them exposure since it reaches a lot people and helps to attract clients.

3 Inspo Websites

I shouldn’t have this section of the newsletter if I don’t shout out one of the biggest Webflow influencer in the space dropping his website this week. This website reminds me of the Awwwards website redesign. Clean, clear, highly functional but aesthetically pleasing.

Really fun, interactive site with punchy colours, animated characters but simple to navigate. So much fun to scroll on this site!
