20 Strategies To Get More Webflow Clients
1 Article, 1 Podcast, 3 Webflow Jobs & 3 Inspo Websites. Let's go!
Hey Webflailers,
This week, someone messaged me to ask why I wanted to share my failures and the failures of others.
“Doesn’t it affect whether people want to work with you?” someone asked.
Since I have had a lot of new subs to the newsletter recently, I thought I should explain that here.
Whenever anyone fails, there are lessons to be learnt. In fact, I believe the bigger the failure, the greater the lesson.
Fuck up a project because the timeline you told the client was too short? You learn that you need buffer room in your process.
Or spend months (or even years) failing to put together your portfolio and then finally do? You learn that done is better than perfect.
What I’m trying to say every mistake, wrong turn, failure you make is a data point to learn from. It is a chance to iterate. It is a teacher.
Does anyone still want to work with me? YES!
More than ever. I have found that people want to work with who they like, know and trust. They are looking for someone who will tell them honestly what they can and can’t do, and what they are capable of. I have found when I now say I can do something, people really believe me!
Don’t be afraid of owning your mistakes and sharing what you have learnt from them.
(Let me know if this makes a lot of sense or no sense).
ps. I previously wrote this article in June but I think it’s really pertinent to the messages I have been getting from peeps on Twitter so I’m re-sending it this week. Hope that’s ok 🙃

Some of these are obvious while others are more outside the box. Either way, here are 20 strategies to get more Webflow clients:

Fun fact - Marcelo is a salsa dancer and met his wife dancing salsa.
The three failures Marcelo talks about in this episode are:
